This one i put in just for enjoyment as i thought it looked cool. Roman guy was probably fairly new and decided on defensiive play. My army is 50/50 cav infantry but i read that double envelopment is typical of high cavalry armies i.e. Cannae. and as it happened the numidians where to envelop Rome again a couple of thousand years later. All my cav are light so i use a fluid and fast and deceptive system distracting one flank to attack the other. My opponent looks for a fixed defense then decides to assault my infantry with a long line of his cohorts they are held in place long enough by my num. infantry and eventually crush into 1 mass ala Cannae and is effectivly put in a precarious position of choosing which threat to meet as the vice grip closes in. Ouch.
