In this battle, in Illyria, not far from Salona, Easter Roman Empire Rebels, led by general Friesian, are finally brought to battle by Easter Roman Imperial forces. Taking initiative in the early confusion among the Imperial forces and unwilling to fight an uphill battle, the rebel general makes a bold strategical move to sieze a vital hill on his left. Imperial right flank under general I_AM is dispatched to prevent them from gaining the possession of the heights. Rebel's artillery is able to inflict some casualties before I_AM's own missile cavarly is able to drive them off. However, vital time is lost, and rebel center and left flank are able to form up on the hill. However, in a hurried attempt to seize the hill, a fatal break between the main force and the refused right flank of their army is exploited by a mass assault of Imperial army on the main body of the rebel army.
As the battle commences, the lagging right flank led by KRAUTROCK is attempting to link up with the main body. In a fake attack, lures away most of the Rebel relief cavalry and allows Antigonus' own heavy cavlalry to destroy Friesian's cavalry. The general himself is killed. This in turn allows a massive flanking action causing a mass rout of Rebels main infantry formations. General Helmeteye is also killed in the ensuing struggle. The relief infantry and cavalry of the rebel right wing under Krautrock is too late and in turn destoryed, by overwhelming Imperial forces.
A beautiful plan by a Rebel general is fatally ruined by poor teamwork and coordination of one of his wings.
