By their skillful leadership & masterful tactics, RSole and HG-Carthage advanced to the Final Battle without losing a single game up till to this point. And because of my mistake in organizing HG-Carthage’s first round Group, I accidentally assigned him a 4th game which shouldn’t have been played at all. Regardless, HG-Carthage won his extra game. Out of the First Round, HG-Carthage had the distinction of having the most points.
Ever since my first Forum Party, I’ve played both commanders on numerous occasions. Both players are very adaptable. They can switch factions with little difficulty.
During the Tournament, HG-Carthage used Egypt, Julii, Julii, Julii and Armenia.
RSole used the Julii, Briton, Briton, and Seleucids.
Which faction would they use for the Final Battle?
RSole opted for his trusty Britons. Whenever RSole wants to win, he’ll call on his Britons. He has much confidence in this Celtic tribe. My very first online battle was against the Britons. And guess who my opponent was? It was RSole. To this day, I still haven’t beaten his Britons.
HG-Carthage, once a huge fan of the Carthagenian faction (hence his name), stated prior to the tourney that his Home Faction was Rome. Up to this point, HG-Carthage’s Romans have been invincible in the tourney. He even defeated Egypt in his 3rd battle using the Romans. Egypt belongs to the chariot brotherhood of factions next to Briton and Pontus.
With confidence oozing in from both sides, both players rushed into this battle eager to prove that their generalship was superior to the other. RSole summoned his Britons and HG-Carthage called for his Romans.
You'll see my name in the Battle Results but I was only an observer. I want to give a special thanks to Xyphos_Pet for zipping this file for me.
