I waited for a right moment to commit an attack. My armies were a bit worn out from earlier battles against Macedonians. Then, after couple of rounds, Macedonians besieged Thermon so I had to go to relief the siege by attacking it.
I attacked the Macedonian army (all units were spearmen besides the general) from Thermon by Titus Brutus and his army (mostly footmen like Hastati) and by my cavalry army leaded by some general of mine. My armies had more men.
I waited for Macedonians to come closer. I formed a half circle around their spear infantry. When their groups were deep enough, I quickly formed a full circle around his men and crushed them. The battle went perfect, only lack was that Titus Brutus died. Another battle was fought against Macedonians when their army (around 1200 men) attacked a-wooden-wall-settlement of mine. My garrison had around 600 men and a pretty good, young general (3 or 4 stars). Macedonians broke the gate and walls around it with rams. His spearmen rushed to the breached locations of my walls. I ordered Hastatis to repel them. After couple of minutes of fighting, I managed to crack his assault from the left flank. I quickly ordered my cavalry (about 150 men) through the open hole and encircled his spearmen between cavalry and Hastati (and the walls). Their morale "disappeared" so the army was crushed. Macedonians suffered about 1100 casualties and I lost only about 160 men.
