One thing that bothers me when playing is that when a Roman faction is destroyed, sometimes there are provinces and armies left over that become Rebels. I feel that it would be better for those to automatically revert to Senate control, if that faction still exists. The cities and armies are still Romans in spite of the fact that they were controlled by a faction within the Republic.

The second thing I am hoping for is like what they did in Medieval; add most of the rest of the factions as playable with a few new units to make them well rounded.

The last would be that any bribed army would remain intact but as mercenary units. That way diplomats would have a much greater role in the game. Plus the idea of having mercenary peasants as 'cannon fodder' in my armies instead of my own citizens makes me chuckle

I like Medieval: TW (and the expansion of course!), it's a great game but I think it's missing one little thing: a player can't play as Papal faction. So I suggest that in Rome: TW expansion pack (and why not as an official, working patch to Medieval: TW), players can play as the Senate and give orders to Julii, Brutii and Scipii. This might be difficult to make but I think it would be great.

Yes, totally agree with this. I really do hope that they include that aspect of the game, being the senate and giving missions to the lower fractions. Also maybe later in time have those fractions turn on you like in Rome:TW and try to be the emperior. Then maybe once those fractions are elimated you raise another fraction different name, color, etc...

why do the barbarian voices grunt and shout(barbarian does not mean killer or savage, it means forgein!!!!!!!!!!!!!) And roman voices are plain AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!they didnt have a small relation whith americans.I nead good acsents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Erm. Correct me if I'm wrong, but... Wasn't there a thread about that? And didn't he just (pretty much) steal the whole general idea of the thread? Maybe to make us agree. I wouldn't know. I think the accents are fine anyway.

Did I ask for better multiplayer yet? I hate the current set up for it... Terrible... Just terrible. I can only connect to one out of every ten games or so, so I don't even bother playing online.

Do you know whatd be cool.... if Sega(formely Creative Assembly) found a software that could make AI copy off human tactics. If ya dont get me this is wat i mean, Sega use their most expert player and get him to vs the computer then after the game they modify the software so that the computer analises the tactic finds a way to counter and can create its own tactics from that 1 game. that'd be great

Thats a very good idea WrathofVesuvius, but i think it should be able to learn. Like if the a.i. started using your own tactics against you and uses proper counters. It would be nice if it also had counters on hand for the perfect counter to the strategy it's currently using. This would cause players to have to constantly change their strategy and make the game much more intresting.

If they could make George Bush cry, then they can make a computer learn. So in other words their very far away from smart computers

Okay thes are 2 things that definatly should be in the xpansion pack
1. diplomats should be able to talk to a beseiged castle and ther'll be somtin like stop attack for money or they should give up, you know, cool stuff

2.This would be GREAT being aloud to garrison your troops inside an allies province to help them out just like LOTR which would be cool you just put some archers on your allies castle walls.

Theres already a demand thats something along the lines of give your city to us or we'll attack, but yes being able to garrison inside your allys city would be great. It would also be great to be able to make plans with your computer allys such as "attack here at ____ date with my ____ army". A nice multiplayer addition would be like a 4 player campaign with 10-20 citys.
