As the Greeks, I probably loose less than 5% on campaign battles (Gamespy won't allow me to connect to MP battles, unfortunately.) But I realize the Greeks are easy.
As the Julii, I fare pretty terribly. I get something like 15% losses on average - though it's not uncommon for me to lose 30% or more.
I'm not too great a general, but I am an excellent administrator and governor. "Where's there's a bushel of grain to be found, I'll find two."
(I fought a battle just now against the Macedonians. 1400 against 1400, me with mostly Hastati and Principes. I lost 53% of my forces, whereas I killed 92% of them. Not great, but I got a Man of the Hour for it!)
