Just for fun I ran a simulation of a full Cretian Archer Army against a full Egyptian army, axemen pikemen just no fast cav. I just let the thing run and it simple rained arrows. The Archers routed in the end but took 1200 Egyptians with them. Try setting up a full Ballista and Scorpion army against any type of infantry, I used the Gauls. That is fun to watch as well. You can save the replay and watch it from the enemy's perspective. When they get hit they fly back 10 meters and knock into each other.

Lol I do that all the time. I also enjoy playing the bridge levels. Simply stick good hoplite units on the bridge to block it. All the enemy troops bottleneck, and the damage dealt by onagers/archers is tremendous.
