Is it possible to win the battles, actually so far I've only won the teutoberg(sorry for the spelling) forest, all the other ones I've lost.

Have you played the battle of river Trebia? That one is not too hard, I mastered that one because its the demo level (which i played a billion times before I bought the full game). If you do try it, just time your calvery right and stay on the defensive, use those elephants too! I liked using them as archers until they ran out of arrows or until I found a good spot to rush them into, just experiment a little.

Do you know how to beat the Parthian Historic Battle? I sat down and beat some of the others, but I don't know how to beat this one.

Chase the cavalry behind you with cavalry. Chase the cavalry on the right with your general and make a well timed U-turn. Charge the cats. with first line of infantry and run the second line a bit to the flanks and surround the cats. Move directly in for the kill. Move your general full speed into the fight from behind and kill all cats.Infantry then back in testudo, moving around until enemy runs out of arrows. When they charge they die. Not many men left but still possible to win.

At Carrhae, even if you win it will be a pyrrhic victory. What I did:
- Use your cavalry to chase the horse archers. Turn around your men so they dont come back.
- Undo the testudo for the two back cohorts, and form a coherent line.
- When the catas are about to charge, put your own cavalry behind them and undo testudo for everyone.
- Once the catas are stuck, charge REPEATEDLY with your cavalry from the rear. You will win if you kill the enemy general. If you don't, it will be much harder.
- The horse archers will eventually charge too.
- Don't forget to switch your cavalry to swords if they get bogged down.
When I won, I barely had 30 men left, and they could have crushed me if they weren't routing.
