Question: how do you play the Byzantiums in endgame? The 3 options facing me are expand into the christian held realms, mongol area or aztec area and I have a sneaky feeling the wrong choice will kill my empire. So which of those would make the easiest opponents. (only papal states, england, scotland, HRE, danes, hungary, poland left)

I would expand into Christian held Europe. Take each country one at a time. But watch out for the Papal States. They have Retainers of the Apocalypse and Seraphim.
Think you're a hotshot against the Mongols? Go to the Mongolphobia mod discussions and download the mod, then, you will surely tremble with fear in the face of the Mongols. If you have suggestions/questions, feel free to make a thread. You can download Mongolphobia here. Good luck.

Shotgunners against western Europe armored slowpokes FTW. Seraphim aren't a problem for Byzantine. Just send in a unit of HA's and watch them burn their own troops to a crisp.
Sounds good, I just began producing the shotgunners and got a full stack of rocket elephants from assasination missions can't wait to see what they do to the shiny christian knights. Thanks for the advice
