Hi Everyone,

As Rome: Total War is now 15 years old, it seems great to reminisce on such a ground-breaking game.

I myself love to use cheat codes. However, Steam made some impossible.

Which codes still work?

1. I know these work, and are valuable:

add_money 40000
add_population "Settlement" 5000
process_cq "Settlement"
give_trait "Character Name" __________
create_unit "Character or Settlement Name" ___________ 5 9 9 9
give_ancillary "Character Name" _____________

2. I also know there are others that work, but not so monumental and game changing.

3. I want to learn how to use the "Force_Diplomacy" in the modern use. I can get the help screen to display, but not much else.

4. Any other great codes I am missing?

i'll have to give these a shot. just now modding the game for the first time.

I am sure there are some, but I do not use them myself, thus pay little attention to which ones still work and which do not. I use the CD version of 1,5 and all existing codes from years ago should still work.

Cheat codes are strictly Verboden for multi-player games, in case you didn't know. Some don't.

I did use cheat codes sometimes. Not to gain an advantage, mind you, but to correct an event in the game. Like when twenty thousand denarii suddenly disappears from my treasury during a hiccup, or to change the name of a city once captured. Usually things as a result of a crash.
