I dunno if u could but i heard in medevil that u could mount and dismount but even if u couldnt i think that u should be able to dismount and become inf and mount to become cav, which brings me to another thing: when a cav soldir dies, i dont think it should always be both man and beast fall, sometimes, the man dies and the horse runs amok and other times the horse dies and the man gets up to avenge his horse (and not get trampled).

They probably won't add dismounting for cavalry units because it was something that was far more common in the middle ages than in ancient times. In the middle ages, Knights would often dismount to fight on foot...this just didn't happen much in the ancient world.

yes, yes, but i still think that some cav can dismount . . . if u know how to ride, u know how to run.

The only units i know of that disounted were british soldiers in general unfortunatly(sp)they never used them in battle though would be nice to see head hurling cav lol

if your horse died and your part of a group would that not make it crash (or perhaps seen as its an exansion, make it a new group??

What they should do concerning cavalry in the expansion is give you what remains of a family member's Heavy cavalry guards if that family member is killed in battle...similar to Shogun.
