
At the risk of this being a dead forum :P, I still have to ask.
I am currently playing through a Medieval 2 game as Venice, unmodded except for a small change I made myself to unit ammo. I've been expanding and covering a lot of ground now - which in turn means I have a lot of Priests running around too. These can turn into Heretics at the end of every turn - and as a mechanic, I am fine with that. Just means my other Priests get someone for target practice :P.
However, it would be nice if the game provided a notification for such a thing. Usually you can see a Heretic leaving your city if a Priest falls to heresy when the game processes the end of turn (and other faction) events, but it doesn't always focus on it - causing you to miss it. There have been a few times already that an Heretic was running rampant in a backwater region that wasn't anywhere near a battlefront for several turns before I realised one of my Priests had turned to heresy.
I didn't see any mod about this; how difficult would it be to mod in a new turn event message that shows Priests fallen to heresy on your side?
