Is there a way of editing the script so the game continues if Alexander himself dies?

I have no need for you fine noblemen. I have merely to stamp my feet and legions will spring up all over Italy. I can crush you like an insect..

Yes, just to to RTW\Alexander\data\world\maps\campaign\alexander\descr_win_c onditions.txt. Take out the line that says "survivor Alexander"

You might be able to leave in the "alexander" value in the line beneath "macedon". But to be on the safe side you might replace that with "hold_regions" as well.

Sorry that doesn't seem to have worked. I've probably done it wrong! Here is the first few lines of the said .txt file I currently have saved. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

That looks right. Try it with the alexander value in that second line rather than hold_regions.

Hum, sorry that doesn't seem to work either. Does it need to be a certain update or something? I'm very naive i'm afraid so I can't think of what it could be!
