I was wondering on wether I should recruit 1st Cohort legionaries. I want to know is it better to recriut 1st Cohort legionaries in huge Denarlii games multiplayer games then just recriuting oridnary legionary Cohort units in. (I'am talking about Legionary Eagel Cohorts if u wanted to know.)
Also what sort of a tactical guide do u believe I should make for the site. All opinions are open,
They are good, they hold the lines for much longer than other cohorts, even more with the general near and stats up. I say yes, but not with low money like 10000, get preatorians.
I think we need more Roman guides, there arnt very much around and Romans are popular.

A Legionary First Cohort has 60 men instead of 40 (normal unit scale) and increases the morale of all your troops. I read that the morale bonus is not cumulative. Also, if you lose the unit, you not only lose the moral bonus but also get a morale penalty. Apart from that it's just like the regular Legionary cohort.
So yeah, geting them would proboably be a good idea. I asume that if you have multiple 1st Cohorts and one of them gets killed, the others still give you a morale bonus and that cancels out the morale penalty. It's still just a theory and hasn't been proved though.

doesn't > mean that they are better?
so 1st Cohort > Urban means 1st Cohort is better than Urban...
i just like the 1st Cohort because of the high numbers

Oh boy.......whatever you put by the larger, open end of the < stand for greater than. 1st Cohort > Urban would make them superior to the Urbans.

Yep, the > sign means "greater than" in mathematical terms.
