Play both.Or make a decision on your own. Assuming you are capable of doing so?
Does your inability to be decisive really warrant a thread?
And each faction has it's advantages and disadvantages.

Blunderboy - you're really on "Does this warrant a thread?" rampage today, arn't you?

I, personally, prefer the Parthians to the Seleucids, mostly because I don't like phalanx units all too much. Both civilizations have cataphracts, and they both have war elephants. Not much Seleucia has that Parthia doesn't (except Parthia is very cavalry dependant, where as Seleucia could really go either way.

Yes, yes I am.
And that is a fair point. I think Seleucid is a better choice, more diverse units. Crap, but diverse. Parthia is fun to play as, but I would play as Seleucids first.

Parthia's my favorite playable faction, but the Selucids have a highly flexible combination of phalanx and cavalry to reccomend them. They don't have any horse archers, but they're still more versatile than the other Hellenistae.

In MM, they spammed my campaign map with full-stack armies: all consisting of militia hoplites and peasants.
Indeed, these are crap.

Personally I prefer the Seleucids, as they have more variety in their armies, I generally prefer Greeks to Easterners and I think the Seleucid colourscheme and badge is far better than the Parthian ones.

I personally like the seluecids better because they are more interesting to play in that they have a wider variety of units in which to choose from and deploy, so dare I say it, there is IMO more strategy. Parthia is mainly just cavalry, and if your going for the long campain, that gets REALLY boring.

I like the Seleucids mainly because I like to go around with fairly accuracte Alexandrian armies trying to rebuild his empire. Plus sieges are MUCH easier when you have Silver Shield Legionaries. You can't assault a city as the Parthians and expect to win without severe losses.

all it takes is at least two rams, and you can have Cataphracts charging into the backs of the units your one units of Desert infantry is holding at the gate.

Severe losses of eastern infantry isn't a problem.
