Loose formation or very fast light cavalry. Maybe light cavalry archers, even.

Use your own light cavalry, and chase them down. They aren't too strong in melee.

If all else fails, use a loose formation, and just wait 'till they run out of ammo. Then move in for the kill.

They dont run out of ammo until you are dead. Best bet is to chase them with something fast...

He's being sarcastic. His point was that they'll cause too many casualties before they run out of ammo, so you're better off chasing them down.

Dogs are the best for chariots.

They are really fast, do good damage, and replenise themselves after battle!

yeah, catching them with cav is best, and easier done at the onset of battle when they are closer and haven't killed so many of your dudes.
