Whats the best way to attack and defend against Numidian camelriders? I'm using my Auxilia, defending, and charge them with my heavy cavalry. But my auxilia often gets run over and the heavy cavalry isn't really a match for them. Any suggestions?

Trinarii. Any spear troops actually (just remember to put them 4 layer thick).

Haven't got Trinarii yet and archers own camels only from a distance. Can you scare them with fire? Pikes and spears are the only way to beat them in close combat?

I didn't really think camel riders were that big a deal. They have the same stats as long shield cavalry, and so are decent fighters, but nothing that can't be staved off by some reliable infantry. Just keep your cavalry away from them and you should be able to cope.
