Forumer Gallery Thread

Quick tutorial for those who don't know how to post a picture:
First you need a picture, ideally taken from a digital camera, but scanned images will still work.
Save them as jpegs (.jpg) or gifs (.gif).
Do not save them as bitmaps (.bmp), as this format uses about ten times the memory and makes the pages load slowly. Then you need to host the picture. Personally I use www.photobucket.com.
Then, you just need to post a link to the image.

Taking the example of an image on RTWH:

shows up as:

http://rtw.heavengames.com/forums/rtwh.gif
shows up as:
http://rtw.heavengames.com/forums/rtwh.gif

Picture.
shows up as:
Picture.

I have removed the pictures that Ace linked to that no longer exist. If you want your picture in the gallery (or to change the one that's already there, post it or link to it in the thread. If you want your picture removed, I can do that too.

NB - It is against Heavengames policy to allow anyone under the age of 14 to post personal pictures.

Ya got me there .

That dude's just plain hittable.
For that matter, I'm not too picky. You'll do. You available? Or your gf open minded?

Behold how the cherub stands, with wings outstretched, on the ramparts of heaven,
As he watches the pale mortals head to prayer, their solemn faces leaden.
He hears the church bells ringing, and pities them for their tone,
Their brazen peal far weaker, far less glorious than his own.

Innit.

The thought that struck me looking at that was:

"Woah dude, this sun is bright! Man, am i hungover. What? Smile the camera?

Now, where's the cafe? I need a fry-up"

These are my speciality.

I must admit, I was awake far too early that day I went to Shrewsbury. Fascinating town to visit, by the way. That photo shows me on the tower of the castle with what remains of the old Benedictine abbey in the background.

Hmm. Mebbe I'll bring a digital camera with me next time I leave Auckland. But you, oh bandit, have yet to show us the vast, rolling plains, the boundless sea of the steppes.

One of the reasons I never give a wide smile in pictures.

You can't say that civilization don't advance, however, for in every war they kill you in a new way.

Chauvinism is not a particularly nice trait at the best of times but can be suicidal when the person your talking too can have you executed on a whim.

Facebook, anyone?

All hail my mastery of flame!.. From the back.

I would like this one to be added to the gallery, as my current 'giant' picture is a little outdated.

Anyway here is me being subjected to slave labour on holiday.

General Rawlinson- This is most unsatisfactory. Where are the Sherwood Foresters? Where are the East Lancashires on the right?

Brigadier-General Oxley- They are lying out in No Man's Land, sir. And most of them will never stand again.
