Topic Subject: New Desktop For Rome 2

I'm building a computer more or less for the purpose of playing Rome 2. I was wondering if anyone could help me choose a graphics card. I've narrowed it down to either a GTX 650 TI (Best bang for your buck) or a GTX 660 (better top end performance). Playing on Ultra isn't a huge deal for me, but I don't want to be playing in a "fog" like I have to with Shogun 2 and I want my unit sizes maxed out.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.

This is as good a place as any to ask. As to your computer, I couldn't say which might be best. The game isn't coming out for some time still, so I can't say exactly how high its requirements might be. That said, I'd recommend the higher the better as long as you can afford it.

That's kind of what I'm leaning towards, since the price difference is only around $50.

I know the game doesn't really have any detail for the specs, but I figure people probably have a vague idea based on past games or general computer knowledge.

If your main purpose is R2TW then waiting a little while might change how things lie. Which processor were you thinking of?

Intel i5 3570k with a 660 TI graphics card I just bought on Thanksgiving. Deal was too good to pass up.)
