The thread title pretty much says it all. I was pleasantly surprised by the recent news that CA has made fleets as customizable as armies. Mainly because they never hinted at doing so in earlier interviews and info releases.
Anyway, I've actually given quite a bit of time to thinking of names for my armies and fleets. For the Romans, I was mainly going to borrow names from the Space Marine legions of Warhammer 40K and give them names like World Eaters and Emperor's children. For the Greeks, I'd mainly stick with historical names like Argyraspides (Silver Shields), Chalkaspides (Bronze Shields), Leukaspides (White Shields), etc. then adding the name the area I raised them from (example: Bronze Shields of Macedon).
I don't haven't brainstormed a lot of names for navies yet. Furies of Poseidon is my main one followed by Spawn of Charybdis and Sons of Scylla.
So what names have all of you picked out/brainstormed/imagined?
